Thoughts and prayers with all of you... I will never be able to think of Gene without seeing that big smile and hearing that three-chuckle laugh. But more importantly, I won't ever think of him with out also thinking: "one of the really good guys."

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Gene and I were friends during our college days through our mutual interest in having fast cars. I always admired him for his intellect and creativity, something that was sometimes lost during our maturing years. He will be missed.

Dear Charlotte and family
I was so sorry to hear about Gene. I knew Gene when he lived in Topeka and for a few years after he moved to GA. I have very fond memories of Gene, and wanted to send my sincere sympathy to you and your family at this sad time.
