I know the heartache that the adame family is going through, so my prayers are with you. Another family member has passed, but that means another with GOD.

Aunt Teresa, Lizzie, Carleen, Joyce, Michael, Karen and Teddy,

I wish I could be there to comfort you, I wish I could be there to wipe away your tears, I wish I could be there to say good bye to Jerry and to talk about past years.

Even though we can't make it to Topeka, we just wanted you to know we will pray for you all that you find comfort knowing that Jerry ,even though he is gone , he will always be remembered and as time passes the pain in your heart will

not be as heavy as it is today.

Jer (Jerry) we love you and will miss you so much. Dixie, Patricia, Amanda and I are still in disbelief. We can’t stop thinking about the time you spent with us here at our home this summer. You were not one that liked your picture taken and this is why the picture you let Patricia take of you this past summer means so much to us. We are all taking your passing very hard. We miss you so much! You will always be in our hearts, our thoughts and our prayers.

You and I didn’t get along in the begging but we overcame our differences and became best of friends and best of all we became a family. Jerry you will always be my father and Grandfather to Patricia and Amanda. I will miss our long talks about life that we shared this past summer. God except this man into your heart and embrace him with your unconditional love.

Love always and forever, your son Scott.

I can't remember for sure if it was Jerry or Uncle Frankie who first gave Haley the nickname "Haley's Comet" when she was a baby--I'm pretty sure it was Jerry. People still call her that from time to time, and when they do I'll think of Jerry. He'll be missed.
