Glen Anderson Obituary

Glen I. Anderson Glen I. Anderson passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016 in Scottsdale, AZ. Glen was born April 13, 1932 in Ottawa, KS to Edgar and Helen (Sands) Anderson. Glen graduated from Appanoose High School, Pomona, KS in 1949. He married DeLores Horst of Pomona on September 10, 1949. They were married until her death in 2006. Glen and DeLores moved to Topeka in 1956 and lived there until Glen retired in 1996. Glen worked in the construction industry for his entire career. He began as a laborer for Frisbie Bridge Co and later worked at Loebsack & Assoc on the Lake Sherwood project. He became president of S&W Contractors and Triple A Contractors, both of Topeka. He retired to New River, AZ. He is survived by his brother, Alan Anderson, Savannah, GA, his sister Jean (Anderson) Holcomb, Olathe, KS, his five children: Steve Anderson, Lawrence, KS; Dana (Anderson) Mondon, Columbus, OH; David Anderson, Cave Creek, AZ; Jett Anderson, Scottsdale, AZ; Jason Anderson, Lawrence, KS as well as 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. The family recommends donations in his name to the Appanoose Area Preservation Society, 48 E 650 Rd, Overbrook, KS 66524. Glen I. Anderson
