Ima "Jean" DeLong

MANHATTAN- Ima "Jean" DeLong, 69, Manhattan, Kansas, died July 28, 2008, at her residence in Manhattan. She was born and raised in Manhattan and had been a longtime Topeka resident moving back to Manhattan in February 2008. She is survived by four sons: Dan, Darrell and David DeLong, all of Topeka, Dennis DeLong, Denton, TX; one daughter: Susan Murphy, Manhattan, KS; one brother, Durreth Robbins, Bellview, NE; two sisters: Jan Dickinson, Gorham, KS, Lea Piper, Albuquerque, NM, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 7 until 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Chapel. Inurnment of the cremains will be in the Valley View Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Manhattan. Memorials may be made to the "Ima Jean DeLong Memorial Fund" and left in care of the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, KS 66502.
