Joy Blaser Obituary

Joy L. Blaser Joy L. Blaser, 74, passed away, Monday, February 21, 2011. She was born in Chicago, IL on February 25, 1936 the daughter of Frank and Evelyn (Dunteman) Lacy. Joy married Wolf Blaser, Sr. on December 28, 1962 in Sierra Leone, Africa where they both were working at the time. She received her Bachelor degree in Business from Washburn University in 1985. Survivors include her husband, Wolf; daughter, Connie Blaser (Don Sisco); son, Wolf Blaser, Jr, (Mindy); grandchildren, Wolf Blaser III and Skylar Blaser. A private service was held. Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, Topeka. Online condolences may be sent to www.kevinbrennanfamily.com.

Joy was such a positive fixture in our neighborhood growing up. Whether she was walking the hounds or hosting a field trip or cheering us on in football or track, she was always so nice and truly encouraging. Please know that you and your family are in our prayers.

Joy's Family,
I didn't get to know Joy very well but the few times I did get to visit with her I enjoyed her company.I know this is a very difficut time for you and you have my deepest sympathy. I knew Joy because my husband Bill and Wolf Sr. were good friends and Bill retired from Wolf Cons. In 1999. He Passed away April of 2009.
