Keith L. Meyers

Keith L. Meyers Keith L. Meyers, 76, of Topeka, passed away, Sunday, April 10, 2005. Keith was born May 17, 1928, in Topeka, the son of Herman and Esther Carlett Meyers. He was one of six children. Keith married Marjorie Owen on May 27, 1950. She survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Sherri Hedberg, Cindy Williams and Jenny Meyers, all of Topeka; a son, Kit Meyers, Portland, Ore.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Galen Meyers, Overland Park; and a sister, Marion Martin, Kansas City, Kan. Keith was a commercial real estate developer. He was responsible for developing White Lakes Mall, the Topeka Industrial Park, Topeka Truck Stop, Fox Theatres and numerous other commercial properties. He was the founder of Mill Creek Ranch in the heart of the Flint Hills, where he raised prized Herefords. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel.
