Mabel Cordelia Green Berg

Mabel Cordelia Green Berg, 88, of White Cloud died February 16, 2006. After her marriage, she lived in Topeka and worked as an upholsterer for McEntire Brothers for 25 years, retiring in 1977. Mrs. Berg was of the Catholic faith. She was a member of the Sac and Fox Tribe of Reserve, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles L. Berg and her son Fred Green. Survivors include two grandchildren Rosella and husband Chauncey Madere of Hiawatha; Fred K. Green of White Cloud; And two great-granddaughters. Funeral services are planned for 10 a.m. Monday, February 20, at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hiawatha. Larry Lang, youth minister of the Family Life Center, will officiate. Interment will follow at the Hiawatha Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Sunday where the family will meet with friends from 7 until 8 that evening.
