Paul Parre

Paul A. Parre Paul A. Parre, 90, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016 at a Topeka hospital. He was born December 4, 1926 at Richmond, MO. Paul graduated from Osage City High School and served in the Navy during WWII. He moved to Topeka in 1964 and was employed by Dupont for over 30 years before retiring. Paul was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. Paul married Kathryn Link on August 30, 1947. She preceded him in death on September 3, 1984. He was also preceded in death by two sons, James Parre on January 8, 1974 and Louis Parre on May 31, 2010, his grandson, Jimmy Parre in September, 2015 and his step-brother, Dave Parre. Survivors include one son, David Parre, daughter-in-laws, Henny Parre and June Parre, his step-sister, Mary Rappard and several nieces and nephews. Private graveside inurnment services will be held at a later date at Burlingame Cemetery, Burlingame, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2700 S.E. Virginia Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66605 or the Topeka Rescue Mission, 600 N.
