Richard Lambotte Obituary
He was born May 15, 1956 at Topeka, the son of Norman S. and Elizabeth "Betty" Jacobson Lambotte. Rick grew up in the Rossville community and graduated from Rossville High School in 1974.
Rick had worked in construction and had last worked for Jacobson Asbestos. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Rossville. Rick was a past member of a corvette club in Topeka.
He loved the outdoors, animals and the farm.
He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Lambotte.
Survivors include his mother, Betty Lambotte, Topeka; his children, Shaun Lambotte, Heather "Todd" Armstrong, all of Topeka; two brothers, Ken (Irene) Lambotte, Topeka and Todd (Alania) Lambotte, Rossville; his grandson, Tadd; several aunts and uncles and many cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 13, 2018 at St.
Stanislaus Catholic Church in Rossville. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys.
Rick will lie in state and the family will receive friends after 6:00 P.M. Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church or the Helping Hands Humane Society and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple Street, St. Marys, Kansas 66536.
