Robert Eaton Obituary

Robert L. Eaton, 77, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Topeka Presbyterian Manor. He was born September 15, 1935 in Nevada, MO, the son of Frank and Louise Eaton. He had resided in Topeka for over 50 years. Robert was employed by Ohse Meat Company for many years before retiring. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed traveling to Colorado. He enjoyed bluegrass music and his antique car, 1971 Lincoln Continental. Survivors include four daughters, Tammie (Devon) Layer of St. Peters, MO, Debbie (Kevin) Hamm and Robin (Dale) Kaff, both of Topeka and Lori Buchele of Overland Park, KS, nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one sister, Edith Cliffman of Nevada, MO. Robert was preceded in death by his grandson, David Martinez, four brothers and one sister. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Jellison Chapel at Topeka Presbyterian Manor. Burial will follow in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Robert will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to the Good Samaritan Fund at Topeka Presbyterian Manor, 4712 S.W. 6th Ave., Topeka, KS 66606.
