I learned to appreciate Sue´s commitment and conscientiousness through our collaborative work on both accreditation and academic projects. I was honored to be a member of her doctoral dissertation committee. I am sorry to hear of her passing and want to express my sincere condolences to her family.

This woman right here is one of the main reasons I was able to complete such a rigorous degree at such an amazing school. She believed in me and she pushed me. She held me to a very high standard. She put her name behind me and got me the first internship the KBI in Topeka accepted. We remained in touch all these years and she would send me pictures all the time of the "offspring" from the Aloe plant I named Locard and gave her as a gift at my graduation. Nagy has himself quite the Aloe collection to take care of. Remember to only water when it rains in Texas as Sue used to do. You will be so missed, thank you for believing in me and pushing me to where I'm at today

Sue's commitment to students was apparent in her approach to learning - she always worked cooperatively with the Student Services Office to provide alternate avenues for students with disabilities to fulfill course requirements. I enjoyed working with her and will remember her as a colleague with compassion.
