I am thankful that this showed up in my email. Shawna and I attended Stout together. Shawna, Felicia, Natalie and I spent a good chunk of time together in and outside of school. Snowball skating, riding on the Zambezi zinger at worlds of fun, hanging out at Chesney park and swinging on my front porch swing. Such incredibly fond memories. I have prayed countless times for her daughters. Praying that they are coping best they can and ultimately reaching all the potential they have inside of them. You never really know all the people who are in your corner rooting for you. Much love.

To Jerry and Families, I was so sorry that I could not visit with you all at Shawna's memorial, as I was in Pennsylvania visiting my husband's family. I will keep your loss close to my heart. Some day Fred and I would enjoy visiting with you and reconnect our families. Love to you all,

I attended Stout Elementary with Shawna, then we came together as sisters in The Lord when she joined El Shaddai Ministries and she and her daughters sang with me in a choir workshop. Shawna, I am so glad I got to meet you. I will forever remember the last time I saw you at the game just last week. Looking up while I was coaching, and seeing you smile as you walked in to watch Asha play. I was clearing my voicemails, and ran across a message you had left about a game. It was a small thing. But it was still great to hear your voice one last time. You were a great mother. I hope friends and family can carry your daughters, parents, friends, and family through their grief. I hope everyone can cherish wonderful memories of you forever.

Word's cannot express how Truly sorry I was to hear about your beautiful daughter who was taken away from her family. My thought's and prayer's will be with you and your family. Mary Jane I remember how you use to get when they would come over or when you would go watch them with their sport's. My mom use to enjoy all the stories you would tell her about how well they did win or lose in a game. I will be thinking of you and your family in the day's ahead. Shawna and I attended Stout together. While I haven't seen her since those days her personality is not something you forget. Felicia, Natalie, herself and I spent a fair amount of time together during those years. Younger years are hard enough with your parents, let alone without. The girls have been top on my mind ever since the tragedy. They, and all affected are in my prayers.

We meet at 7th grade orientation at Northern Hills we made a connection and then became best friends. We did so many things together had many laughs, did some crying together but we always had each others back.
