Steven Pierce Obituary

Steven L. Pierce Steve L. Pierce, 64, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019.

He was born October 25, 1954, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of R. D. and Helen (Parsons) Pierce. He was a 1972 graduate of Topeka High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Reserves.

Steve was employed by Plumbers and Pipefitters, Local Union #441 for 30 years until retiring.

Steve married Nancy Sullivan on January 8, 1984 in Topeka, KS. She survives. Other survivors include two brothers, Don (Norma) Pierce, Lawrence and Doug (Jan) Pierce, Henderson, NV.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Jim Pierce.

Honoring Steve's request, cremation is planned. A celebration of life gathering will be held at 2:00 - 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics Kansas, 5280 Foxridge Drive, Mission, KS 66202-1567.
