Steve, baby brother, I will miss your phone calls every Wednesday and Sunday. You loved buying expensive clothes and cologne. Many of our conversations were about the food you ate that day. You could always make me hungry. We laughed together and cried together. I already miss you so much. Fly high with the angels. Love sis.

I remember meeting you for the first time, Steve, when Mom brought you home from the hospital, a little bundle of life, just before Christmas, to our little house on the El Paso Air Force base. It's so strange and wrong that you and Karen, the last to arrive, were the first to leave. I am glad you left more peacefully than Karen.

He was way too young to die. It´s the hardest of times for those left behind. But I will think of Steve´s easy smile when I met him, his sense of fashion and love of colour, his western way of walking, his concern for others, and his strong resemblance to your sweet mom, Loretta, with much love! I send you all my deepest sympathies and much strength. May his memory be a blessing.
