William Byler Obituary

William Bill Byler, 67, of Meriden, passed away Nov. 5, 2006 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born Sept, 18, 1939 in Cotter, AR the youngest of eight sisters and one brother. Bill worked for the Seaman School District before retiring. He married Maxine Cox Byler, May 26, 1967. He is survived by his wife, Maxine; his children including his daughter, Belinda Rosine and husband Craig of Topeka, son, David Byler and wife Shirley of Meriden, daughter, Jan Johnson and husband Rick of Topeka; 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Claudine Sluss of Kingsport Tenn; brother, Mack Byler of Topeka and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanette Byler Campbell and a grandson Jerrid Rosine. Graveside services will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, Nov. 8th at Half-Day Cemetery at Elmont. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Bill Byler Memorial Fund in care of Davidson Funeral Home, 1035 N. Kansas, Topeka, Kansas 66608.

Maxine&Family; I'm so sorry to hear about Bill passing.I use to play ball out to the Lake with Jan years ago and I remember Maxine from when i went to Seaman High School. Bill will be sadly missed. Maxine and Children,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
There isn't enough words for me to describe how I enjoyed visiting with Bill and You, wheather it be at our home or yours. Bill, only an Uncle by marriage always made me Welcome at your home and I was at home when with Bill. To know him was to care deeply for him.
