Roger Land Obituary

Roger Thomas Land, 70, of Campbellsville, died at 10:27 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, in Campbellsville.
Son of the late Tommy Land and Nellie Noel Land, he was born Aug. 16, 1942, in Casey County, Ky.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Living Grace Church.
He retired after working at Fruit of the Loom for 42 years.
He married Anita Cox on Feb. 4, 1961. She survives.
Survivors also include a son, Mitchell Thomas Land and his wife, Lisa, of Louisville, Ky.; a daughter, Melinda DeSpain and her husband, Kevin, of Campbellsville; three grandchildren, Brandon Thomas Humphries, Tara Wallace and Carrie Jo DeSpain; four great-grandchildren, Traxton Thomas Wallace, Dalton Cox, Landon Cox and Tatum Caulk; three sisters, Jo Colvin and her husband, Richard, of Campbellsville; Sharon Spear and her husband, Homer, of Liberty, Ky., and Sandy DeHart and her husband, Bill, of Winchester, Ky.; a brother, Donald Land and his wife, Shirley, of Liberty; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral was Friday, March 1, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. Dr. Shane Garrison officiated.
Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
