Gordon Herzberg 1953-2022 Gordon Herzberg,69, of Shenandoah, Iowa, formerly of Clarinda, Iowa passed away Thursday, December 29. 2022 at Gardenview Care Center, Shenandoah, Iowa. Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 5, 2033 at Clarinda Cemetery with Pastor Mitchel Schuessler officiating. Visitation with the family will be held 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Nodaway Valley Funeral Home, Clarinda, Iowa prior to the graveside service. Burial will be in the Clarinda Cemetery, Clarinda, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the Gordon Herzberg Memorial. Memories can be shared with the family at wwwnodawayvalleyfuneralhome.com. Arrangements were entrusted to the Nodaway Valley Funeral Home of Clarinda. Gordon Herzberg was born to Leland and Mary Lynn (Miller) Herzberg on October 12,1953 in Clarinda, Iowa. He graduated from Clarinda High School in 1972. Following graduation, he worked at Super Value and HyVee food stores, where he greeted everyone with a smile. He will be remembered for his spunky personality and witty remarks. Preceding Gordon in death were his parents, Leland and Mary Lynn (Herzberg) Wagoner and brother in law, Tim Tritsch. Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Pamela Tritsch of Kalamazoo, MI and his brother, Marlin Herzberg of Eagan, MN, nieces, Tina Tritsch of Miami Fl, Tracee (Josh) Cook and Tara Smith (Michael Pingel) of Kalamazoo, MI and nephew, Todd Tritsch of Denver CO. great nieces and nephew, Payton Davis, Tatum and Gannon Gravatt, Logann and Karsyn Johnson of Kalamazoo and Sophia Tritsch of Denver; other relatives and many friends.
