Bessie Mae Duncan,74 , passed away Friday, July 26, 2013 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be 2-4pm Sunday, July 28 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram.

Services will be 10am Monday, July 29 at First Baptist Church of Terry, with a one hour visitation prior to service time. Interment will follow at Terry Cemetery.

Mrs. Duncan was born in Terry, MS to the late Clinton D. Posey and Nettie White Posey. She worked as a bookkeeper for Flannigan Electric, Dixie Hydraulics and retired from Revell Hardware. Mrs. Duncan loved her family, adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Terry.

She is preceded in death by her grandson Brian Kirby. Survivors include her husband of 52 years Tommy Duncan of Terry; son Dennis (Liz) Duncan of Terry; daughter Dorinda (Mike) Kirby of Terry; brother Virgil "Buzz" Posey of Terry; sister Ann James of Terry; grandchildren Kaylon Kirby Monahan (Josh) and Adam Kirby (Crystal); seven great grandchildren.
