Monroe, LA
Danny Keyser, 56, passed from this life Monday, January 11, 2016.
Visitation will be 9:00-11:00am, Saturday, January 16, 2016, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Graveside services will follow at 2:00pm at the Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Mize.
Danny was a retired trim carpenter, having worked for many years with his brother, Chad, in their business, Brothers Construction, in Southaven. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and cooking for family and friends. He was a true animal lover and an avid Nascar and Earnhardt fan. Danny's most endearing quality was his ability to appear hard as steel while his soul was kind and generous- a tough guy with a heart of gold.
Survivors include brother, Chad Jones and wife Elisha Smith; sisters, Linda Duckworth and husband Phillip, and Robin Piotrowski and husband Ben; aunt, Patricia Pickering Overby; and many more nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Danny is also survived by his nephew, Allen Duckworth, with whom he had a special relationship, and his cousin, Chassie Craft Lewis, who was more like a sister to Danny.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Willow Jean Pickering Jones; grandparents, Lee Roy and Viola Pickering; and cousin, Tammie Davis.
