Madison, MS
David Michael Guimbellot of Madison, MS lost his courageous battle to cancer at his home surrounded by his loved ones on October 2nd.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 8th from 5:30pm-7:30pm followed by a memorial service at 7:30pm at Parkway Funeral Home, 1161 Highland Colony Pkwy, Ridgeland, MS 39157.
David was born on December 13, 1966 in Vicksburg, MS. He was raised in Hollandale, MS and graduated from Deer Creek School. David attended the University of MS then continued his education by receiving a Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree while living in Baton Rouge, LA. He then advanced his career by acquiring his Masters in Nurse Anesthesiology in Pasadena, CA.
David then returned to MS in 2005 where he gained employment at UMMC as a Nurse Anesthetist. David served on the MANA Board for two years as a representative for the State of MS. He was an avid sportsman, he particularly enjoyed duck hunting and golf. He loved spending time with his family and his new family of Highland Chapel Church.
David is survived by his loving wife Monique Bauduc Guimbellot; children Hannah and Joshua; his parents Robert and Brenda Cage Miller; sister and brother-in-law Robyn and Jared Shaw; and his niece Avery Coney. He is also survived by his in-laws Lucien and Carolyn Boydell Bauduc; brother-in-law Jacques Bauduc and nephew Luc Bauduc of New Orleans, LA. David was preceded in death by his father Julius Herman Guimbellot.
