Elizabeth Kathleen Roberson Mitchell
Clinton - Elizabeth Kathleen Roberson Mitchell, 100, passed away December 15, 2020 of pneumonia. She was born in Marion County on March 15, 1920 to Jesse William "Bill" Roberson and Penina Wilson Roberson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 56 years, Oscar Frank Mitchell; her sister, Sarah Lottie Roberson Ames; and her brother, James L. Roberson.
She is survived by her nieces, Sarah Ames Pearson (Don), Jane Roberson Horton (David), Betty Roberson English (Randy) and Janet Mitchell Colson; her nephews, James William "Bill" Roberson and Shelby Mitchell; and many great nieces and nephews.
She retired from the MS State Rating Bureau after many years of faithful service. Her greatest pleasure was working in her yard and loving her dog Nikki.
Due to COVID-19, a private graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 18, 2020 at the pavilion at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS.

She was my mother's neighbor. They used to eat and drink coffee together. They always had a Christmas party for them and there neighbors. Both had puppy's that were really spoiled. We send our prayers to the family.
