Mr. George Stanford Little, 88, of Grenada, formerly of Webb, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at his residence. He was born August 15, 1928 in Tippo to George Washington and Annie Mae Simmons Little. He was a retired farmer and had lived most of his life in Webb where he and his family were members of Webb Baptist Church and he had previously served as an Alderman in the Town of Webb. He had faithfully served his country for over 25 years in the US Army and National Guard and retired with the rank of Captain. Following retirement and their move to Grenada, he was an active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 1, 2016 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Barry Worrell and Dr. Brent Barker officiating. Interment will follow in the Oddfellows East Cemetery in Greenwood. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Sara Jo Cail Little; one daughter, Teresa Graham (Ed) of Grenada; one son, Stan Little (Laura) of Cleveland; three grandchildren, Kim Boggan(Mark) of Greenwood, Edgar Graham of Jackson and Sara Triplett(Dave) of Memphis; and two great-grandchildren, Graham Boggan and Cail Boggan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jean Lay.

Pallbearers will be Mark Boggan, Robert Carollo, Sammy Carollo, David Petrie, Dave Triplett and Johnny Weeks.
