Dear Grace & Family,
What can I say ... Harold and Grace were like my 2nd grandparents for several years. We lived a couple of doors up the street from them for several years from about 1967 - 1972. Our visits became less frequent when we moved to Butler in late 1976. I still think of you often, and have very fond memories of the both of you.
It was to Harold & Grace's house that I went in March, 1971 when my little brother was born. I also went to their house after school for a few months after my mom went back to work. Grace always had a little box of raisins for my after school snack and sat me down in their basement with a pillow while I watched Batman on TV. I remember the little box of cowboys and indians you kept in your front closet that I got out every time I came to your house. I can still hear Harold describe the hole in one he got that time (how it was an impossible shot) and won the Trans-Am. And I'll never forget some of Harold's expressions, especially "Holly Mackerel".
I could probably go on for pages of my memories of you both. Even when I was very young, I could tell how very special you both were and are to me. In my book there never lived a more gracious, gentle, and classy couple as Harold and Grace.
I will always carry you both in my heart.
Love always,
David W. Bennett

Grace and family. We didn't know where you went, Grace, but we were in hopes that you got to go to Miss. as you had wished you could. Our most heartfelt sorrow in Harold's passing. We love you both with all our hearts.
