Jimmie Holbrook Obituary
Jackson
Jimmie Aubert Holbrook, 76, passed away Wednesday May 4, 2011 at Jackson- St. Dominic Hospital. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday May 7, 2011 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton, preceded by visitation at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park.
He was an avid sportsman and supporter of Mississippi State University Athletics.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian Holbrook of Jackson; brother, Harold Holbrook of Brandon; sisters-in-law, Virginia Presley, Shea Elkins, and Billie Stevens(David) ofall of Clinton; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
Memorials may be made to CARA, 960 N. Flag Chapel Rd., Jackson, MS 39209, Jackson, MS 39209or the Mississippi Animal Rescue league, 5221 Greenway Drive, Jackson, MS 39204.

Will miss this man very much. looked up to this man as a father figure. We has always been there for me and my family. There is no blood relation between him and I at all but after knowing him for almost seven years, he has treated me like his son and/or no different than his family. Love him and his wife very much!!!!

My condolences to the family during this time. Saddens me terribly to lose someone who was more than a friend, he was family . Love the Holbrooks alot! A blessing to my family. Going to miss you .

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Mr. Holbrook. It was always a joy to see him, he always made us laugh. He will be missed by so many. My condolences to the family, may the God of all comfort, comfort you during this difficult time.
