Doctors making house calls is seemingly a thing of the past...Dr. Joe, as well as Dr. Arnold, came by our house many nights on their way home from the clinic carrying large satchels of medicines and medical supplies...Anyone reading this should recall the same thing...
Along with being one of our doctors, Dr. Joe and his family were our neighbors just down the street...
Jane, Josie, John and Mary Frances all have been good friends of my family for a long time and we extend our heartfelt sympathy to them...

Memories come flooding back as I remember a dear friend I was privileged to work with, who delivered my babies and doctored on my family. I grieve with you.
