Joseph Hull Obituary
He was a native of DeKalb where he received his education. He received his medical degree at the University of Tennessee and his residency in pathology at Ohio State University. He served in the Army Medical Corp. during WW II for 4 1/2 years and was discharged with the rank of Major. He returned to Indianola where he was co-founder of Hull Brothers Clinic and practiced medicine for 40 years retiring in 1985. He was a beloved father, grandfather and physician and will be missed by everyone that had the privilege of knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Archer Hull in 1997.
He was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: three daughters, Jane Gray Hull of Brandon, Josie Hull Long (Bill) of Austin, Texas, Mary Frances Richards (Bruce) of Leige, Belgium; son, John Stephens Hull (Candice) of Brandon; four granddaughters, Lys Richards, Mary Long, Elizabeth Long and Amy Long; and two grandson, Joseph Bradley Richards and Matthew Hull
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Boone-Card Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or to the Salvation Army.

Doctors making house calls is seemingly a thing of the past...Dr. Joe, as well as Dr. Arnold, came by our house many nights on their way home from the clinic carrying large satchels of medicines and medical supplies...Anyone reading this should recall the same thing...
Along with being one of our doctors, Dr. Joe and his family were our neighbors just down the street...
Jane, Josie, John and Mary Frances all have been good friends of my family for a long time and we extend our heartfelt sympathy to them...
