She was a member of Pine Lake Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by parents; 3 brothers; husband, William Albert Thurman; and daughter, Ethel Janelle Thurman.
Survivors include: son, William D. Thurman and wife Martha of Pearl; sister-n-law, Norma L. Thurman of Pensacola, Fla.; grandchildren and spouses, Donald R. and Glenda Thurman and Keith and Abby Thurman of Pearl, Charles and Cindy Jones of La., Wanda and Mike Jackson of Ga., and James and Linda Jones of Tenn..; 10 great-grandchildren.
