Martin Bryant Obituary
Martin was raised in Brandon and attended Brandon High School. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Jackson. Martin had a passion for cooking which led to his career as a chef. He joined the staff at Julep restaurant in 2002 and served as chef and manager at the time of his death. He enjoyed hunting and loved the outdoors.
Martin, a loving husband and father, is survived by his wife, Wendy Edwards Bryant; son, Bailey Evans Bryant; his father, Eddie Bryant; his mother, Charlene Bryant, his twin brother, Michael Bryant and his wife Shauna; nieces and nephews, Aidan, Leo and Leah. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles H. and Marie P. Satterthwaite and M.J. and Doris Barnes Bryant.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League, 5221 Greenway Drive Ext, Jackson, MS 39204-3212 or Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital, c/o The Division of Public Affairs, University of Mississippi Medical Center, 2500 N. State Street, Jackson, MS 39216.

I was horrified to hear the news. It seemed so unfair. Even now it feels unreal.
I had the privilege and the pleasure of working with Martin for many years. I'm so deeply saddened!
To his parents, Michael, Wendy and Bailey, as well as the rest of the family... Just like everyone else's, my prayers and my heart are with you. Please be assured that Martin lives on through his beautiful look-alike son, through his brother's looks, but also through the love and respect of all of us that loved him dearly. ~Emma

Sadie and I are so thankful that we were able to spend time with Martin and his wife and son at our family Thanksgiving dinner. He had grown into a fine young man and freely discussed with us his career ambitions and his love for his son and wife.
