Orene's cousins, Edna Ellis Hays and Mavis
Ellis Yorke are extremely sad to learn of the loss of "Boots". These three ladies have been through a lot together since childhood. Even though my mother, Edna, was younger and a "tag along" to the older girls, Orene was always so kind to her. My mother said that one of the last things Orene told her was that the two of them looked enough alike to be sisters! They were all so close that this is a great loss to them. The three all love Blue Mountain and have such fond memories of being there.
Our families send you our sincere sympathy.

Dear family, We are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts are with you. We just learned of the death of Aunt Boots...too late to attend service as we would have liked. May God bless and keep you. Charles Ellis and Carolyn Eudy

John Booth, Kay, Steven, Jeffrey and Families---I was so very sorry to get the news this evening of the loss of your dear mom. She has always been one of my favorite cousins, and I recall accompanying your grandmother (my aunt Mamie) up to visit your family many years ago. I also enjoyed hearing more about Haimes and Ellis family history from your mom on a telephone chat several years ago. She was so proud of all of her family and was interested in the information we were gathering on the Haimes clan. Please know that we all send love and deepest sympathy on your loss. We all loved your mom and dad and will always have such good memories of them. Harriette Price Mastin, Vicksburg, MS

Boots (as my mom called her) was my mother's best friend. She was like a sister to her. She adored her & appreciated her true friendship, prayers and encouragement. They have been friends since my mom was in the 9th grade. I appreciated her as well. I also appreciated her praying for me & my family. My mom is sad but also very happy for Boots at the same time. She's with Jesus now and everything is great for her. I'm thinking of ya'll & praying for your family.

Love,
Rinda
