Paul Kersh Obituary

Mr. Paul R. Kersh, Sr., 100 years old born on October 7, 1907, in Pelahatchie, MS, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, August 11, 2008. He was the sixth of seven children born to Dr. William Irvin Kersh and Hortense Bonnie Bell Kersh.

Mrs. Kersh, Russell and family,

I am Luther and Louise Sills' daughter, Libby. I live in California now but keep up with the Jackson news via the online Clarion-Ledger. I was saddened to read of Mr. Kersh's passing away. You and Mr. Kersh were great friends to Mother and Daddy, and they loved getting together with you both. Daddy passed away in 1980, and Mother died in April of last year. My sister, Irene, and her family live in Texas. I have fond memories of visiting with you, Mr. Kersh, Russell, and your mother, Mrs. Reeves, during my growing-up years. My condolences to all of you.
