Pierce Helms Obituary
Survivors include his parents, B.J. and Leah Helms of Brandon; sister, Kathryn Fulton; brothers, Payton Dooley and Patrick Helms; maternal grandparents, Travis and Margaret Fulton of Ferriday, LA and Kenny and Elaine Barr of Brandon; paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Denise Helms of Brandon and Nancy Helms of Pearl; other survivors are his uncle, Mark and Ashley Helms and cousins, Trent Bates and Marcus Helms and many other loving family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorials should be contributed to the Pierce Allan Helms Trust Account at any Trustmark National Bank. The Pierce Allan Helms Foundation is being established in his honor with the Congenital Heart Defects Foundation (CHD) of Mississippi, and all donations will be contributed to his foundation.

i am very sorry for your loss. i remember when i was still in MS and (Mrs. Leah) was still pregnant with Pierce. when i read about his condition and what you all were going through,i was... shocked. i kept praying hoping for a miracle, but i guess this is God's will for you.but now Pierce is in the safety of God's arms and he is watching from above. may God bless you all.

I will never forget the first time I read about Baby Pierce. It was a suggestion on Facebook, I started looking at it and I was so heart broken. I began to pray hard for this little baby, something I had not really done in so long. Having three kids, a husband, and all the other things that life throws at us daily, It is so hard to lose faith. With reading about little pierce my heart skipped a beat and I began to believe that God had to have a better plan for this sweet baby. I looked daily for updates and prayed when I would read about his days, shall they be good or bad, and I would cry and pray for this little baby boy. On the day that I read of his getting his angel wings, I began to cry and felt as though I had lost someone very close to me. I know that the good Lord had something so much bigger planned for this baby. He was put on this Earth to open our eyes that God is still here. That he loves each and everyone of us, and has a plan for everyone of us. Baby priece accomplished more in his short time then most people do their entire lives. He has brought many back to the light of the Lord. This little guy now walks with Jesus, though he will be missed, he is no longer in pain. I pray for his family right now.
Everytime I think of this baby one quote comes to mind. It is so true.

Sweet Baby Pierce was one of God's miracles. God had a job for him to do--bringing so many people together in a united effort of prayer and support--and our Pierce completed his mission with high honors. Now he gets to rest and reap the benefits of his hard work here with us, resting in the arms of Jesus and feeling the love of all who were awaiting his arrival in heaven.
