I will remember Mr. Boone very fondly every day ... he built my beautiful home. The Boone Family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Brother Boone had a very special place in the hearts of the Beaty family. When my husband, Bryan was in ICU in Jackson in November/December 1986 Brother set with us for many hours. He would bring rolls of quarters for us to use to call family, he brought a big basket of fruit and was a very dear friend. I was sorry I could not be at the funeral but was thankful Greg was able to be there to represent our family.

Bro. Boone, affectionately known to me as "Rev." and his wife "Meir", will always hold a special place in my heart. I remember in the summer of 1964 as an eight-year-old "new Nazarene" (!) how he made sure he recognized me as we were on our way to Camp Hurley in south Mississippi for kids' camp. He made me feel like a princess! Little did I know then what an important part of our family he and "Meir", Ken and Kelvin would become. I am so sad that I was unable to be in Mississippi for his homegoing celebration. I grieve not for him, but for those of us who are left behind. Much love and prayers to all the Boones. -Ruth Lovell Smith

Our family was truly blessed in knowing "Papa" Boone and the entire Boone family. We are truly grateful for all he had done especially for my boys. Our hearts and prayers are there for him and his family

I am so sorry we could not be there today. Bro. Boone was a "special person" to all our family. I will always appreciate him (together with Mrs. Boone and Rev. and Mrs. Jackson) driving to Nashville to pray for my twin sister, Debbi Parker, the day before she died nearly 25 years ago. He was a true example of a "Christian" - always putting God first, others second and himself last. I love you and will miss you.

Richard Boone was a genuine Christian man and minister. Acts 11:24 best describes Richard: "For he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And a great many people were added to the Lord." He was my friend.

Bro. Boone was the only person who could give advise and in your heart you knew he was right... even if you didn't want to hear it. I will always remember the wonderful example of being a Christian he set...and lived.

Bro. Boone always lived what he said. He was a wonderful Christian witness, and we loved him very much.

Special memories as Richard gave me my first opportunity as a youth and music pastor. For over 5 years I was blessed to be under his leadership and be loved by the Boones and the Emmanuel family. Our prayers are with you.
