Scott would just start telling me what he was doing before I asked. He struggled simple words with a certain provost. Mississippi has so many hidden artists that the general public is unaware of and Scott's work will be popping up everywhere. He constantly worked on something.

Scott and I werent close although I knew him for 20yrs or so. Last time I saw him was a month or so ago when I took him to run some errands. He put on a good face but he was obviously not doing so good. He never complained. He was a brilliant warrior in more contexts than I have room to list. I will miss his defiance, his courage, his absolute unwillingness to bend or break on what he believed to be true about this world. Much love Scottie.
