Shirley Wray Obituary
Visitation will be Thursday, September 10, 2009 from 5-8 pm at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence and one hour prior to the 10 am services on Friday, September 11, 2009, at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Florence City Cemetery.
Mrs. Wray had made Florence her home since 1957 and was a very active member of First Baptist of Florence. She taught kindergarten at the church in the early 60's.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Wayne Wray; sons, Jerry (Teresa) Wray and Bobby (Debbie) Wray, all of Florence; sisters: Mae Davison of Mobile, AL and Betty Robinson of Elliott, MS; grandchildren, Lessie (Lance) Evans, Joey (Ashley) Saxton, Jeremy Wray, Wes (Elizabeth) Wray, and Chad Wray; and two great-grandchildren, Aaron and Ty Saxton.
