Tom,
I was saddened to see in the paper where your father passed away. I would have called but figured you were already in Meridian, and not at home. I noticed in the obit where the term "proven friend" was used to describe your father. What a wonderful testament to your father that you are a "proven friend" to many as well. I also noticed that he was very much a man of faith, I have always been amazed at what the life of a faithful man can accomplish and he accomplished much. His Scrap Iron Sunday School class sounds so appropriate for men of our father's generation.
Just wanted to let you know that I was thinking of you and your family at such a sad time. May the Lord comfort you and your family during this time.
Hope to see you at the Pig Dinner.
