Donna Lynn Allison, age 82, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at St. Thomas West.
Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Geoffrey Sikes officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Donna entered this life on August 22, 1942, in Montgomery County, TN to the late Ralph and Geneva Thomas Shofner. She was a graduate of Clarksville High School in 1960 and studied at Austin Peay State University. She was a member of Church of Christ at Trenton Crossing. Donna was also a member of the Lions Club, a Cub Scout Leader for the Boy Scouts, a Brownie Leader with the Girl Scouts, and a Jaycette with the Clarksville Jaycee’s. She also spent many years working for First Federal Bank, and eventually retired from First Advantage Bank.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lonny Neal Allison, Sr. and son, Van Allison.
Survivors include her children, Neal Allison, and his wife, Annette, Amy Ong, and her husband, Michael; grandchildren, Courtney Crawford (Sterling), Brian Neal Allison (Janeth), Morgan A. Ong, Michaela A. Ong, and Matthew L. Ong. Donna also leaves behind her brother, David Shofner.
Pallbearers will be Brian Allison, Matthew Ong, Sterling Crawford, Chase Daniel, Cory Heard, and Zach Loner.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the World Bible School Ministry at Church of Christ at Trenton Crossing.
