Hannelore Rupe Obituary

Hannelore “Janie” Rupe, age 82, of Clarksville, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Rupe.

Janie is survived by her children: Daniela Hutt; Travis Rupe and his wife, Amber; and Kevin Rupe and his wife, Kayce. She is also lovingly remembered by her six grandchildren: Tehya Rupe, Arianna Rupe, Julia Hutt, Henry Hutt, Robert Rupe, and Rory Rupe.

Janie was beloved by many and known for her warmth, creativity, and adventurous spirit. An award winning quilter, she poured love and detail into every piece she created. She had a remarkable sense of direction, often taking time to drive along the back roads to discover where they might lead. She loved going to new places, prospecting, gardening, and had an uncanny gift for finding four-leaf clovers.

Janie was a shining light to all who knew her, and her memory will be cherished forever.
