John Rashley Obituary

A Celebration of Life service for John William Rashley, 60, of Clarksville, TN will be Friday, February 28, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the hour of service. 

John was born on July 9, 1964 in Clearwater, FL. He passed away on February 14, 2025. John was a man who cherished the simple pleasures in life. He found joy in motorcycle rides and attending classic car shows. He loved his dogs, Sporty and Jax, who brought companionship and happiness to his everyday life. He worked for Austin Peay State University as an HVAC technician.

He is preceded in death by his parents Merton Rashley, Sr., and Betty Roberts Rashley; wife, Delores Rashley and son, Justin. John is survived by his step-daughter, Cristal Jenkins, step-son, Timothy Jenkins, siblings: Cheryl (Jim) Mitchell, Lura "Kay" (Jeff) Meahl, Merton James (Janet) Rashley, Jr., and Veronica (Bob) Gezzer, grandchildren: James, Kayce and Loli; and great grandchild Leroy.

My deepest condolences to Cristal and the rest of the family. Mr. John was a quiet, simple man and will be truly missed. Him and Delores will be reunited and can ride off into the sunset for eternity.
