John Calvin Woodley

John Calvin Woodley, age 75 of Clarksville, TN passed peacefully on Monday, October 20, 2025 at Tennova Medical Center in Clarksville, TN. John was born on June 16, 1950 in Knoxville, TN to the late Robert Woodley and Gloria Easterly Woodley. John is also predeceased by his brother, Gerald Woodley and his sisters, Harriett Johnson, Edna R. (Tina) Jacks, and Ella Chigano. John is survived by his blessing of a wife, Diamande "Helen" Woodley; sons, James Rau (Tina) Woodley and Johnny Woodley; daughters, Ikeko (Charles) Bass and Gloria Woodley; sisters, Joann (Larry) Woodley Carr; and Diane Woodley; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews. John was a proud member of Woodlawn Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church. He worked over 20 years at Team Construction in Nashville, TN. He honorably served his country in the US Army. A celebration of life will be held in John's honor on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Woodlawn Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Cheatham officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the hour of service.
