Lynn entered this life on March 20, 1957, to the late Wayne Hodge, Sr. and Mildred Crowe Hodge. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, and a proud supporter of the Autism Speak Association. Lynn was a DoDEA educator serving with the Fort Campbell School System, and Quantico, VA. Lynn’s greatest joy came with the birth of her daughter, Stephenie Langley, on April 10, 1981. Though Stephenie preceded her in death, Lynn’s love and devotion as a mother was unwavering and known to all.
Her professional legacy is rooted in her passionate work in special education. She was a fierce advocate for her students, known for her compassion, dedication, and deep empathy. Her students' families leaned on her as both an expert and a source of heartfelt support.
Lynn will be remembered for her warm and generous spirit. She was known by all as someone who would do anything for anyone. Her kindness, strength, and nurturing heart left an indelible mark on the countless lives she touched—students, colleagues, friends, and family alike.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Stephenie Lynn Langley, and brother, Michael Hodge.
Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Reynolds; siblings, Wayne Hodge II, and Lisa Whitehead. She also leaves behind her nieces, Cassandra, Jessica, Sarah, and Allison, as well as numerous great nieces and great nephews.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Autism Speaks, or a charity of your choice.
