Adrienne Corsair Obituary

Adrienne Mae Kirkpatrick Corsair, lover of God, family, people and animals, fell asleep in death Saturday, Aug. 10, one day prior to the 57th anniversary of her baptism as one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She passed away confident of the hope of being resurrected, John 5:28-29 to a paradise earth, 2 Peter 3:13, ruled by Jesus Christ, Revelation 21:3-4.
Adrienne devoted her life to sharing those Bible truths by preaching from door-to-door for parts of seven decades, primarily as a member of the Kokomo, Ind. congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She became a member of the Andrews, N.C. congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses after moving to Andrews in 2021.
Adrienne was born to James and Jeannette Kirkpatrick in Plainfield, N.J. on Aug. 5, 1934. She graduated from Plainfield High School in 1952 and studied nursing at Upsala College in East Orange, N.J. on a full tuition scholarship.
Adrienne met her future husband, David Corsair, at Upsala College. They married March 21, 1954. Adrienne worked as hospital floor clerk and later enjoyed hosting Tupperware parties.
Dave and Adrienne moved from New Jersey to rural Indiana, between Windfall and Greentown, in 1965. After raising four sons, Adrienne worked in the deli department at Meijer in Kokomo. She resided in Kokomo prior to moving to Andrews in 2021.
She was known as a zealous door-to-door evangelizer and Bible teacher who enjoyed friends, dancing, travel, flower and trees, crossword puzzles, movies, TV shows about animals and mothering injured and stray critters.
In her final years, Adrienne was cared for by Gary and Gwen Corsair with help from Joanne Cheshire and Amy Longdyke. She spent her final months at the Clay County Care Center.
Adrienne is survived by sons, David A. Corsair, of Lauderhill, Fla., Brian Corsair, of Dunedin, Fla., Gary Corsair, of Andrews, and Stephen Corsair, of Kokomo; grandchildren, Stuart Corsair, of Okahumpka, Fla., Cassandra Tine, of Hendersonville, N.C., Caleb Corsair, of Sanford, Fla., Garrett Corsair, of Bryson City, N.C., Corrine Perez Lopez, of Hollywood, Fla., and Breanna Corsair, of Margate, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Joseph, Aubrielle Lopez Perez, and Jose Perez Lopez, all of Hollywood, and Josie Corsair, of Margate; nieces, Nancie Edwards, of Sarasota, Fla., and Kathy Marlow, of San Diego, Calif., and nephew, Mark Impagliatelli, of Fla.; and daughter-in-laws, Gwendolyn Corsair, of Andrews, and Anna Corsair, of Dunedin.
Adrienne was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, David B. Corsair, and siblings James Kirkpatrick Jr., George Kirkpatrick and beloved older sister, Jeannette Kirkpatrick Impagliatelli.
