Georgianna Campbell

Georgianna Campbell, 83, of Clay County, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025 in a Murphy care facility. She was a native of Atlanta, Ga. where she graduated from Southwest Dekalb High School. After high school Georgianna worked as a medical assistant in the Atlanta area for more than 30 years. When she retired, she enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and reading.
She was the daughter of the late George and Mildred Henderson Dorn. She was also preceded in death by one son, James William "Billy" Campbell Jr.
Surviving are one son, Shayne Johnson, and wife, Lee Anne, of Hayesville; two brothers, Robert E. Dorn, of Social Circle, Ga. and Phillip Dorn of Covington, Ga.; grandchildren, Savannah Jayne Johnson, of Winston Salem, N.C., James William "Trey" Campbell III and wife, Andrea, of Blue Ridge, Ga., and Erica East of Blue Ridge; and three great-grandchildren, Carter, Melanie and Piper Campbell.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made in memory of Georgianna Campell to: The Senior Scenter, 525 Pisgah Road, Warne, N.C. 28909.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
