Travis Shon Crisp

Travis Shon Crisp, age 54 of Hayesville, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025.
Travis was born in Gainesville, Ga. to Ben and Jacqueline Auberry Crisp. He was the owner of Crisp Lawn Care in Hayesville for 12 years and was very successful. Travis enjoyed bow hunting, spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed having friends and family over and cooking foreveryone. Travis spent many years going Kentucky deer hunting with his father, his son and family. He loved riding his Harley Davidson. Travis had a heart of gold and would do anything to help anybody. He attended First Free Will Baptist Church of Hayesville.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jacqueline Harlee Crisp and his sister Brandus Jacinta Crisp.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son Benjamin Shon Crisp (Emma Joy Crisp) and his grandchildren, Taylor Ray Crisp, Wren Joy Cox and Colt Shon Crisp.
A funeral service was held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 19, at First Free Will Baptist Church in Hayesville with Pastor Chris Rumfelt officiating. Music was provided by the Rumfelt family. Burial was in Hayesville Baptist Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jimmy Berrong, Shane Barnard, Justin May, Mark Cox, Chad Hodges and Lucus Mull.
The family received friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025 prior to the funeral service.
Townson-Rose Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
