I was so sorry to hear of Ed´s passing. I used to see him around town every once in a while. I would see him at McDonald´s with his father in law and at Panera with his buddies. It was always fun catching up and remembering the St Angela sports boosters days. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a good guy!

Have known Ed since my days of delivering mail to his house. We would have conversations quite often and Ed was a genuine person. I last saw Ed at McDonalds where he would meet some of the regular retirees for coffee. He was a gentlemen in all aspects. He will be missed. My sympathy to the family. Rest in peace Ed.

Haven't seen or talked with Ed in a few years but I think of him every so often. An active Democrat and an active unionist, Ed was always willing to lend a helping hand or in my case, some of his plumbing tools (been to his house a few times). Just a wonderful person! He will be missed by many. R.I.P. , Ed.

I am so sorry for your loss, Mary Beth, Bridget, Kelly, Mary, and Lucy. Ed was one of the nicest people I have ever met. I did not know him well, but he was always so warm and friendly whenever I would see him at events or when I came to his and Mary Beth's home for our book club. I know he loved you all beyond measure and fought so hard to be here with you. I pray that he will rest now in eternal peace after a life very well-lived and that you will be comforted by all of the wonderful memories you have of him.

Uncle Ed was such an awesome, loving, warm generous guy. His heart was bigger than his sense of humor which was immense. Hugs and love to Aunt Mary Beth, Kelley, Bridget, Mary, and the entire Gorbett clan.
