age 88 of Twinsburg, OH, passed away Monday, November 22, 2021. Beloved husband of 65 years to Rita Jane (nee Robine); loving father of Jay Gerycz, Mitch Gerycz, Connie (Joe) Leslie, and the late Gregory (Gail- surviving) Gerycz; cherished grandfather of Joe, Ashely, Jayson, Gregory, Christopher, Joshua, Kyle, and the late Jordan; caring great-grandfather of twelve; and dear brother of Rev. Paul Gerycz, Nancy Thomas, and Michael Gerycz. Joe proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He broke tradition and left his coal-mining town in Pennsylvania to take up a career at Ford Motor in Walton Hills, Ohio, from which he retired in 1996. Most of all, Joe loved his family and lived life to its fullest always taking the opportunity to celebrate.
