As a young boy in Cleveland during the 1950s, Uncle Mark was always there to play baseball with me and Take me to other sporting events.
I was honored to be a member of the wedding party when Uncle Mark and Aunt Mary were married in 1958 when I was a sophomore in high school.
I always came away from every conversation with Uncle Mark with encouragement from him and excitement to follow through with his advice.

I have fond memories of Uncle Mark for his big smile, big laugh and regular attendance of extended family functions with my parent's family, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was fun to be with and he was a kind loving man who was devoted to and supportive of his family. Uncle Mark exemplified the role model of a truly great man. He will be sadly missed but not forgotten. My sincerest condolences to Aunt Mary, the immediate and extended families and loved ones.

My heartfelt sympathy, thoughts and prayers to Aunt Mary and cousins for the passing of Uncle Mark. My memories of childhood visits to Grandma Mackert’s house and witnessing his loving care for his widowed mother and younger siblings defines the person he was throughout his life.

Our deepest sympathies to the Mackert family. We met Mark approximately 58 years ago when he became our State Farm Agent. Eventually, our children were in the same schools, and our families intertwined with different activities. Our Incarnate Word dinners always included the Mackerts. R.I.P

Dear Denise, Mrs. Mackert and the whole family, my sincere sympathy to you all during this time. I have many fond memories growing up with you and remember your dad as always smiling, patient and kind . He drove us to so many games - with a big bunch of kids in the car- and always was cheerful and nice. Our prayers are with you
