Darrell W. Goth

Darrell W. Goth, age 73, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at his home in Clinton, Missouri surrounded by his loved ones after a short battle with cancer.

Darrell was a devoted husband and father and will be remembered for always putting others first and willing to help whenever possible. He worked in auto body repair for most of his life at Stayton Chevrolet and other shops. He worked for Gregg Smith for 35 years before retiring.

Darrell enjoyed spending time in his workshop at his home near Truman Lake or scrolling Tik Tok (yes Tik Tok). He also loved spending time with his beloved wife, Rose, and his children and grandchildren, along with his dogs Ellie, Miesha, and Bailey. He was also known to enjoy a cold beer or two in his younger days.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Rose Ann, Son Brian (Laura) Goth, Daughters Cristal (Phillip) Moore, Mandy Little, and Jessica Hernandez all of Clinton. One brother Van (Sharon) Goth, and Sisters Norma Simmons, Doris Smith, and Karen (Gary) Baker, and 9 Grandchildren and 12 Great GrandChildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Vancil and Bernie Goth, brother Jerry Goth, and sister Cathy Shook.

He was proud of all his children but especially proud of his daughter Jessica who has turned her life around and was absolutely indispensable for his care in his final days. She also has the gratitude of her siblings for her help and sacrifice.

A Celebration of Life was held November 28, 2025 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with Rev. David Mills officiating. Special music included "When I'm Gone, Go Rest High, Don't Let the Old Man In and Monsters."

Services were under the direction of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, MO.
