Timothy "T.J." Brown

1986 - 2025

Timothy "T.J." Brown, age 38, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

Timothy John Brown; or better known as TJ was a jack of all trades. He was unremarkably talented. He was a determined hard worker and always had some project to work on. When TJ walked into a room it lit up. His swag and relentless sense of humor kept everyone he met smiling. His laugh was so infectious! Even with his stubborn ways his heart was kind and generous. Often you could find TJ cruising the backroads, playing with his dogs at the water, or listening to music off dancing somewhere. TJ was an incredibly unique soul. To know him you couldn't help but love him.

Timothy was born December 3rd, 1986 in Independence, Missouri to Pamela Mackley and Gerald Brown Jr. He spent his childhood growing up in Clinton, Missouri. Where he eventually made his home and so many countless memories and friends.

TJ was preceded in death by his daughter Adison Jo Brown, grandparents Gloria and Eugene Kihn, uncle Steven Mackley, great-uncle Bobby Quick, and grandparents Evelyn and Gerald Brown Sr.

TJ is survived by his mother Pamela Mackley(Jack) of Clinton, Missouri; his father Gerald Brown Jr(Michelle) of Warsaw, Missouri ; one brother Gerald Brown III (Samantha) of Tightwad, Missouri ; three sisters Christin Wood(Travis) of Clinton, Missouri; Ashley Dority of Warsaw, Missouri; Tyler Brown of Warsaw, Missouri; companion Connie Robinson of Caplinger Mills, Missouri; several nephews and nieces, aunts, cousins, and even more friends.

Celebration of Life services were held September 6, 2025 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with Pastor Daniel Yoder offiating. Special music included "When I Get Where I'm Going, Drink a Beer and Go Rest High."

Services were under the direction of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, MO.
