JEAN O'MALLEY

JEAN O'MALLEY Leominster-Jean F. (Lombardi) O'Malley, 78, passed peacefully on Monday, November 17, 2025, at UMass Medical Center-University Campus following a sudden illness. She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Richard O'Malley; her children, Bryan O'Malley and wife Kelly of Wasilla, Alaska, and Heather O'Malley of Leominster; grandchildren, Abby Jean O'Malley and Thomas James O'Malley; sisters, Ann Bunner and husband David of Worcester, and Paula Swanson and husband Carl of Westport; extended family and many dear friends. Daughter of the late Fiori Lombardi and Mary "Betty" (LaPlante) Sowa, Jean attended local schools and graduated from Clinton High School, class of 1964, where she was a twirler for the CHS band. After graduating, Jean worked as a secretary for different businesses throughout her career, notably Werber & Rose Furniture, where she met her husband Dick and later with Clinton Middle School, Digital Equipment Corp, and UMass Medical Center. Among her hobbies, Jean loved to go spend time shopping and antiquing with her mom Betty, traveling, and doting on her new dog Hazel. Above all, she was happiest in the company of her family. She will be dearly missed, but her loving memories will always remain. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 21, 2025, in Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton. Burial will be held privately for the family in St. John's Cemetery, Lancaster.
