ROSEBORO — Betty Sue (Haithcock) Faircloth, 71, of Roseboro, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center surrounded by her family.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14, at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Reverend David Hughes officiating. The burial will follow at Ezzell Family Cemetery in Autryville.
The family will receive friends from 2-2:50 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14, at the funeral home prior to the service.
Faircloth was a native of Cumberland County, the daughter of James Riley and Marie Faircloth Haithcock. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Judy Hammond and Mary Anne Autry; her brother, Clarence Haithcock; and half-brother, Herman Faircloth.
Betty enjoyed going fishing, spending time with her family; especially spending time with her grandsons, Jay and Derek; they were her whole world.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, James Earl Faircloth of the home; her daughter, Donna Ezzell and husband, Jim of Roseboro; two grandsons, Jay Ezzell (Kourtney) and Derek Ezzell (Rachel); her soon to be great-grandson, Sutton Earl Ezzell; bonus granddaughter, Presley; two sisters, Doris Melvin (Doug) and Mandy Leftwich; numerous nieces and nephews; three special nieces, Stacy, Maci and Abby; and her cat that she hated, Tom.
Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W Roseboro Street, Roseboro, NC 28382.
