SOUTHPORT — Brandin (Brandy) Apperson Connelly went to be the Lord on Aug. 11, 2025.
Beloved daughter of Doug and Dama Apperson of Southport, formerly of Clinton, and wife of Arthur Connelly of Louisburg. Brandy is survived by her daughters, Sydney Carol Richardson and Piper Collins Richardson of Raleigh; her stepchildren, A.J. Connelly and Jillian Faltus of Beaufort, South Carolina. Brandy is also survived by her beloved brother, Trey Apperson and wife Kristie of Dunn; nieces, Allie Croley and Addison Pope of Clinton, Avery McCuiston of Farmville, Anna Gettinger of Dunn; and her dog, Lola, who was such a comfort and blessing to her.
Brandy attended Meredith College. She loved traveling, cooking, reading and all things that involved animals. Although presented with many of life's challenges, she persevered with an amazing strength that was an inspiration to many.
A private memorial service will take place at Peacock, Newman, and White Funeral Home in Southport on Friday, Aug. 15.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607 or to your local animal shelter.
